Eugene from South Carolina bought one of our winch mounts for his 2008 Tacoma through one of our dealers, Clemson 4 Wheel Center, and had them install it along with a Warn M8000-S winch, shackles and Factor55 Pro Link. Turned out great!

Great looking set up. I’m curious about the rubber guard around the line-out hole? I don’t see that on the other pics shared by other customers. Does that come with the bumper?

I’m not clear on what you are talking about . Where the rope exits the winch mount up front, the silver piece is a hawse, very standard with most synthetic rope winches, although, Warn’s are shaped a bit differently. The silver thimble is a Factor55 ProLink. We don’t carry those. You can search it and find plenty of sources. Both items are made of aluminum. The only rubber there is the base of the Pro Link, it sits on that so it doesn’t damage the hawse or it’s own base.

The part I was was referring to is the hawse. I just didn’t know the name. The hawse on this one looks different than the other posts, so I was just curious if that part came with the purchase of the bumper or if it is specific to a certain kind of winch. Thanks again.

If you buy a winch with synthetic rope it will come with a hawse, if it has steel cable it will have a roller fairlead with it. You can view all kinds of winches here: usoffroad.us – Vehicle Winches
