We have quite a few customers in the Middle East and one of them is Satish from Dubai who sends us a few photos of his FJ Cruiser on the dunes of his home country. He purchased our FJ winch mount, Engo winch combination package back in 2016 and goes on to say: “Both beautifully performing till date with no issues, very happy. The winch has gone through some extreme use with as much as 15 recoveries in one single trip over a technical set of dunes and still works great.”
Glad to hear it and always happy to hear from our customers around the world!
Eric from Florida sends us some photos of his 2017 Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro with our winch mount system we powder coated black for him along with a Mean Mother 12,000 lb recovery winch and a pair of Van Beest shackles powder coated red to top it all off. Turned out very nice!
Our winch mount system for the 2016+ Tacoma is the easiest and cleanest installation out there with NO cutting to your bumper cover.
This was just sent to by one of our customers, Bob from California, that purchased one of our FJ winch mount back in 2014 and installed a Smittybilt XRC9500 winch. While we went to 1″ wide shackle mounts several years ago the design remains pretty much the same. I asked Bob how he liked it 4 years later and he stated “Bumper fits great! Haven’t had to use the winch yet. Maybe someday the FJ will get stuck.” smittybilt
This. This is how you do it! John from California sends us a photo of his Tacoma with our 2012-2015 winch mount, Warn VR10S recovery winch, VanBeest shackles, some 2″ cube lights and our 12″ hawse light mount with an Engo 12″ LED light bar. He tops it off with a Smittybilt winch rope thimble. Outstanding! smittybilt Warn Winch
David from Colorado sent us some photos awhile back of his FJ Cruiser and our popular winch mount combination package with a Mean Mother winch and shackles. We custom powder coated it in a matching silver and it all turned out great!
Mark from Arkansas sends us a few photos of his 2015 Tacoma with our popular winch mount, Warn VR8S recover winch combination package along with our Sirius Pro Series LED lights. New newly redesigned VR winch works very well with our Tacoma winch mount.
“So your product is amazing and now I have my 2 Jeep buddy’s looking for similar products. Thanks again, keep up the good work and I’ll send anyone that stops me in the parking lot your way.”
Warren, a customer of ours from Georgia, shows off his 2015 Tacoma with one of our bullet proof winch mounts.
“I am very pleased with the U.S. Off Road Hidden Winch Bumper. Attached are some photos of my 2015 Tacoma TRD Sport with the Hidden Winch bumper installed with a ComeUp DV-9s. The bumper was painted with 2 coats of Rustoleum Self Etching Primer and four coats of Rustoleum Truck Bed Coating. Installation of the bumper and winch was pretty straightforward; no problems encountered. The Hella 700FF driving lights are mounted on a PIAA 30762 light bar modified to work with the Hidden Winch Bumper.”
Conner from Utah ordered one of our winch mounts for his 2015 TRD Offroad Tacoma a few weeks ago. We had inventory and were able to ship it out the next day so he could get his Taco ready to help support the race. He’s running a WARN M8000 winch with the solenoid pack on top center with ‘room to spare’ even after he mounted a couple of Baja Designs Squadron Pros on the light tabs we provide. He writes….
This weekend, we used my truck to staff the east recovery team for the Bonneville Offroad Race in Knolls, UT. We had everything from 9 cars and razor classes up to full 7100 and 8100 trucks.
About noon, we got a call from a 7100 truck was stuck in a sandy dune area of the track. They were in a blind saddle between 2 dunes with no passing zone. When we rolled up, they threw a snatch strap and shackle on one of your recovery points. As I was closing my door to start the snatch, you could hear the motor of the next truck coming up on us.
After a few stiff snatches due to weight difference, we got them out of the dune and onto the shoulder of the track safely. (The picture is right as they were able to get back under their own power.) No more than a minute later, the next truck came mobbing through the area.
Thanks to your product, we were able to recover a truck safely and make sure everyone had a great race.
Thank you for your business Conner! Great experience and photos.
Eugene from South Carolina bought one of our winch mounts for his 2008 Tacoma through one of our dealers, Clemson 4 Wheel Center, and had them install it along with a Warn M8000-S winch, shackles and Factor55 Pro Link. Turned out great!
Arnie from Chicago bought one of our powder coated winch mounts for his 2012 FJ Cruiser along with a top of the line Warn Zeon Platinum 10s winch and Van Beest shackle combo package. On his way to Austin he brought his FJ to us so we could install it all! The Platinum is a huge symmetrical winch but our mount still has room for lights when he’s ready and is a super slick setup. Nice rig and a super guy!
Please be aware that you WILL need to do some minor trimming of a bracket and a cross brace above the winch and move the A/C line back an inch or so as covered in the install docs. You will likely need to elongate the mounting holes in the winch tub about 1-16″ to 1/8″ of inch forward to fit this VERY large winch in the tub and scoot it foward to clear the back of the tub.
Corey from California sends us photos of his 2015 Tacoma with our winch mount bumper using a Warn M8000 winch.
Corey goes on to say: “This is my 2015 Toyota Tacoma sbdc trd off-road. I used the warn m8000s winch. The installation went smoothly and I have used the winch a couple times to recover myself and another truck. I get a lot of compliments on how clean the winch mount looks. I decided to rattle can the mount since I anticipate scraping it from time to time anyway, touch up will be cheap and easy. This is a high quality product and I received excellent customer service when I called about the status of my order, which arrived on time. I am very pleased with your company and the product.”
