Tom from Denver sends us some photos of his 2007 FJ Cruiser with our winch bumper coated in our Teflon powder coating, Engo 10k winch, Sirius Pro Series lights, Factor55 Flat Link and Van Beest shackle combo package. Notice how he decided to mount the solenoid box under the hood. Nice job!
Today we have some photos from another customer, Pam from Florida, of her 2011 Cavalry Blue FJ Cruiser with our winch bumper (purchased through our dealer Pure FJ Cruiser). She coated it in silver to match the factory plastic and added a Smittybilt 8000lb winch and called it a day. Looks great!
Mike from California sends us photos of his Army Green FJ Cruiser sporting our winch bumper along with an Engo 10k winch, Van Beest shackles with our Teflon OD Green coating and Sirius Pro Series lights. He also selected our Teflon infused powder coating in black for his bumper as well. We love the bedliner finish on the bumper cover, light grille and other components along with our favorite color of green! Very nice.
Today we have some interesting photos from Joe in Switzerland. He bought our FJ bumper along with an Engo 12000lb winch but had to deal with some interesting requirements to install it in Switzerland. I’ll quote Joe below:
“HERE SOME PICTURES OF MY TOYOTA FJ CRUISER 2007 FOR FREE USE.
IN SWITZERLAND IT IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO INSTALL A WINCH. THERE ARE SOME CONDITIONS:
THE CAR MUST BE PRODUCED BEFORE 2010
ALL PARTS WHO COULD BLESS PEDESTRIANS, MUST BE PROTECTED (SHACKLE MOUNTS!)
WINCH-OPENINGS HAVE TO BE SMALLER THAN 80 MM
THE OPENING ITSELF HAS TO BE CLOSED BY A GRID
SO, THAT WAS A REAL CRUX!! I SPENT HOURS BY SEARCHING A PROTECTION FOR THE SHACKLE MOUNTS…
BY ACCIDENT I FOUND AN ADVERTISEMENT OF A SMALL 3-D-PRINTING COMPANY, CALLED “EXAPARTS”, ONLY 5 KM AWAY. I ONLY HAD TO DESIGN THE PROTECTOR IN 3D AND TO DAYS LATER I COULD INSTALL THE PROTECTORS MADE OF
STRONG PLASTIC MATERIAL.
BY THE WAY: THEY CAN PRINT ALMOST ANY RARE SPECIAL PART FOR CAR INTERIOR / EXTERIOR OR RESTORATION.
THE TOTAL DISMANTLING AND MANTLING OF YOUR BUMPER AND THE ENGO 10’000 WINCH TOOK 3 ½ HOURS.
MOST OF THE TIME I SPENT BY UNSCREW THE TOYOTA FRONT STEEL PROFILE… AN INCREDIBLE BODY-BUILDING EXECISE!
THE FITTING ACCURACY AND THE WORKMANSHIP OF YOUR FRONT BUMPER IS AMAZING!
THE SHACKLES MADE OF STAINLESS STEEL I FOUND IN AN ENGLISH YACHT OUTFITTER.”
So, a very neat way of dealing with his country’s laws and requirements. Very nice job!
Bob from Washington state sends us a photo of his 2014 FJ Cruiser and our winch mount along with a Viper 13K winch with synthetic rope. He did a nice job on the install by adding lights and adding the lower grille along with a Factor55 thimble.
“Here is a photo of your bumper/Viper winch combo I purchased from you. I do get a lot of inquires about the bumper and where they can get one. I really like my bumper/winch combo and haven’t seen another I would trade for.”
(his is the last version with 1/2″ wide shackle mounts, current version has 1″ wide mounts)
Nico from Florida sends us some photos of his FJ Cruiser with our winch mount coated in our Teflon black, Engo 9000lb winch and Van Beest shackles. He also added some Black Oak LED lights. He actually assembled it all then installed as one unit. Nice job!
Here is another customer photo from Neil in California of his FJ Cruiser hitting the surf with our winch bumper sporting the Engo 10k winch and Sirius Pro Series lights. Very nice job on fitting the factory grille work in front of the winch!
Another happy customer, Larry from Ohio, sends us a few photos of his FJ with our FJ Winch Bumper Combo featuring a 10k Engo winch with synthetic rope, Van Beest shackles and our special Teflon powder coating in black on the bumper. Nice job Larry!
Customer David P sends this photo of one of our non shackled FJ bumpers he just finished installing. He does not have it installed in this photo but he went with the non shackle mount version because he has a brush guard that would interefere with shackle mounts. He went with a Badlands 12000 winch.
Donald from Colorado sends us a photo of his FJ with our winch mount bumper and a Viper Elite winch installed. He had to remove about 1/8″ of the center grille brace to make it work. Notice the factory ‘bling’ skid plate that works with our bumper. Simple enough. Good job!
